Bukchon Hanok(traditional houses) Vilage
This district between Gyongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace is packed with over 900 Hanoks, traditional houses. Members of the royal family and aristocrats lived here during the Joseon Period. It retains the city's old appearance ; thus, it has become a popular filming location for movies and TV dramas. As it still a residential area, visitors are requested to be respectful of residents.
